Little Ally Needs You

In collaboration with DKMS, the stem cell registry, the CGD Society is making an urgent appeal to members of the Korean, Chinese, Macau, Japanese, Mongolian or Taiwanese communities in the UK to find a stem cell donor for two-year-old Ally Kim who has CGD.

Ally is seriously ill and in urgent need of a stem cell transplant to save his life. Ally is of South Korean heritage so he needs a donor with a Korean, Chinese, Macau, Japanese, Mongolian or Taiwanese family background.

We held a stem cell donor drive in New Malden on Saturday 21 January 2017 in the hope of finding a donor for Ally, but we are still looking for a match.

If you are between 17 and 55 years old and would like to see if your stem cells are a match for Ally’s, please visit the DKMS website https://www.dkms.org.uk/en/register-now

Please see below an appeal from Tottenham Hotspur Footbal Club's Korean first-team player, Heung-min Son.

Thank you.

Ally with his brother, Micah.
